1.  Accountant

P. KALOPETRIDES & CO, Nicosia is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant, as part of the Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

– Book-keeping for local and international clients

– VAT preparation.

– Previous experience in a similar position will be considered as an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related field and/or LCCI Level II / III Higher (Accounting)
• Professional experience in a similar position will be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English is essential
• Strong MS Office and computer accounting

2.  ACCA AUDITOR (NEWLY or PARTLY QUALIFIED)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Newly or Partly Qualified ACCA.  Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Computer literate (MS Office, Accounting and Audit software).
• Previous experience in the profession or in accounting will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in various stages of audits, analytical reviews, budgeting, planning, working papers, preparation of financial statements in accordance to IFRS., due diligence.
• Participate in the execution of audit engagements in accordance with the professional standards of both local and international clients in a wide spectrum of industries.
• Ensure that audit work is performed in accordance with the company’s policies and standards.
