Experienced Accountant

Our audit firm, Capival Assurance & Consulting Limited is looking to recruit an experienced accountant for full employment in our office in Larnaca.

The Role:

• Recording accounting transactions in the relevant software for various clients (small/medium international and local businesses in various industries)
• Documenting and filing accounting transactions in an organized manner
• Perform bank and other reconciliations
• Ensuring compliance with the accounting standards and laws
• Cooperating with the Auditors in order to ensure that the accounting files are prepared as required
• Prepare tax computation and tax return forms (T.F. 4)
• Keep accounting records complete and in a timely manner
• Assist in the preparation of VAT declarations and VIES/OSS returns
• Preparation of payroll

Vacancy requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related field
• At least 2 years of experience
• Excellent knowledge of the accounting principles
• Fluent in both Greek & English
• Computer literate
• Ability to multitask and work independently, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadline and work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• Good knowledge of VAT laws
