We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, tax requirements and experience in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating accounting records
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Liaise with auditors and external consultants
- Support internal financial controls and process improvements
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, or similar)
- Knowledge of accounting standards and local tax laws
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in English and Greek
