HTE is seeking to recruit a motivated Assistant IT Officer with a strong willingness to learn, grow professionally, and engage in continuous personal development.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education:
  Diploma from a recognized tertiary education institution in Informatics or Computer Engineering.

• Technical Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop operating systems (Windows 7 & 10).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Basic knowledge of computer networks.

  • 1 year of experience in user support and problem-solving is an advantage.

• Languages:

  • Very good command of Greek (written and spoken).

  • Good knowledge of English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect technical specifications and data for new equipment.

• Prepare and update computer network schematic diagrams.

• Organize, supervise, and oversee maintenance and repair of IT and telecommunications equipment.

• Analyze, supervise, and test programs for system control and repair.

• Learn and support the operation of the customer’s computerized systems.

• Provide technical support and guidance to users across departments.

• Maintain records of:

  • Discs, tapes, and programs.

  • System issues, solutions, and updates.

• Offer first-line technical support for all IT infrastructure.

• Manage IT security documentation.

• Assist in tender documentation preparation and evaluations.

• Relocate IT equipment across buildings as needed.

• Perform user management and support.

• Track usage and order consumables.

• Install and configure new equipment.

• Support additional operational IT tasks as required.
