Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain books and records for a portfolio of companies of the Group
- Deal with complex accounting transactions
- Conduct internal or external audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial research and analysis for specific projects or business decisions.
- Ad hoc data analysis
Key Skills/Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Trainee or Qualified ACCA/ACA is a plus.
- Prior exposure to full Consolidation, PLs/ BS, and CF statements.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting/Audit is essential.
- Deep understanding of the reporting of complex financial transactions, adjustments, and reclassifications.
- Strong Analytical skills, with the ability to prepare insightful analyses and produce a professional report.
- Good MS Office.
- Knowledge of accounting systems (Esoft will be a plus).
- Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages will be a plus (Ukrainian, Greek, and rus).
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ideal candidate will be a person with 2+ years of experience in accounting/audit, company/service provider (Big 4 experience will be a plus), with expertise in preparing financial statements under IFRS, motivated, well-organised, capable of multitasking, and able to organise the work of others.
