Kition Ocean Marina Ltd: Ζητείται Marina Attendant – Λάρνακα
Kition Ocean Marina Ltd, is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Marina Attendant, who will be responsible for safe berthing, unberthing and shifting of yachts. The successful candidate is going to work on shifts on a rotation plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safe berthing / unberthing / shifting of yachts
- Receiving from Berthing Planner location for new clients
- Receiving from Berthing Planner all the movements that will be carried out of Marina to be executed
- Registering to central measurements of electricity and water and comparing with the previous day. Measurements will be entered in a logbook on a daily basis by the morning shift of Marina Attendants
- Entering all the yachts’ movements carried out of his/her shift in a daily logbook
- Checking monitor, advising for any problem that comes to attention regarding platforms, electricity, fireboxes, hoses, damages, or any obstacles found on quays and the platforms
- Daily liaising with governmental officials (police, custom, immigration)
- Operating VHF radio and computer systems as required
- Carrying out routine repairs and maintenance
- Complying with health and safety policy
- Complying with the Marina regulations
- Any other related tasks to support and assist Marina Operations Manager upon request related to professional capacity
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or maritime industry
- Basic boating knowledge and familiarity with Marina Operations
- Strong swimming abilities
- Lifesaving Certificate will be considered as advantage
- Diving License will be considered as advantage
- Boat License will be considered as advantage
- Very good knowledge of Greek and English language
- Basic computer skills

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
