Savvas Kasparis is an established provider of Accounting, Tax & Audit Services with offices in Nicosia and Larnaca.

We are seeking to recruit for immediate employment an accounting officer at our office in Larnaca.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining proper and complete accounting books and records for the firm’s clientele,
• Communicating directly with clients to obtain the necessary information and supporting documentation,
• Ensuring that the processing of accounting transactions is conducted in due time for deadlines,
• Preparing various accounting analysis and reconciliations, such as bank and supplier reconciliations etc,
• Preparing VAT returns and VIES reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• LCCI Higher is prerequisite,
• Relevant degree in Accounting / Finance,
• Experience in similar position for at least 4 years,
• Excellent computer skills, including accounting packages and MS Office,
• Excellent communication skills,
• Detail orientated, organized, good time management and prioritizing skills with ability to multi-task,
• Very good knowledge of the IFRSs,
• Very good knowledge of preparation and submission of VAT and VIES.
