YMF ASSOCIATES LTD: Ζητείται Accountant – Πάφος
We are currently expanding and invite applications for the position of Accountant.
Role overview:
We are looking for a motivated individual with at least two years of experience in bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll, who is eager to develop their career within a supportive and steadily expanding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accounting records for both local and international clients
- Prepare and submit VAT/VIES and OSS returns
- Process monthly payroll
- Perform monthly debtor, creditor, and bank reconciliations
- Communicate directly with clients
- Liaise with external/internal auditors, banks, and local authorities when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in accounting and/or related fields or comparative experience in a similar role for a minimum of two years
- CAT/AAT/ACCA qualification, or currently studying towards one, will be considered an advantage but is not a prerequisite
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good understanding of VAT principles, including the reverse charge mechanism
- Experience with accounting software (knowledge of BTMS or ESoft will be considered an advantage)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach
- Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Team-oriented with a responsible and proactive attitude
Remuneration package:
An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant, including a performance-related bonus. The range will be from €1,600 to €2,000.
