Michael Chambers & Co. LLC is hiring a Credit Controller to support our growing team. The successful candidate will manage outstanding receivables, ensure timely collections, and help reduce credit risk. This role is key in supporting the firm’s cash flow and financial stability.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time, On-Site (Limassol)
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 – 17:00 & Friday, 9:00 – 14:00
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate actions.
- Manage the company’s collections processes to ensure timely payments.
- Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on outstanding balances.
- Set and review credit limits in line with company policy.
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all client communications and actions taken.
- Prepare regular reports on aged debt, collections progress, and risk exposure.
- Escalate problematic accounts to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with corporate, legal, finance, and banking department as needed.
- Support the month-end closing process for accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Greek and English
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Confident using MS Office, especially Excel
- Professional, discreet, and team-oriented
- Able to manage deadlines and work under pressure
