Commercial Head for its Oncology business unit
Alector Pharmaceuticals Ltd, partner of AstraZeneca in Cyprus, wishes to hire a Commercial Head for its Oncology business unit. The position will report to the Commercial Director.
Main Duties
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals to achieve quantitative targets
- Lead and coach the sales teams, through regular on-the-job training with Medical Representatives
- Ensure adherence to company policies and business conduct standards and industry ethical standards
- Conduct market analysis and collect market data to understand market trends and identify business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Monitor sales performance and marketing ROI, providing regular reports to senior management
- Collaborate with regulatory, medical and market access teams to achieve Company targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field will be considered an advantage
- Registered to the Medical Representatives Association
- Experience of at least 7 years in a pharmaceutical company, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Experience in Oncology will be considered an advantage
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical promotion practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
