
C.G. Papaloisou Ltd: Ζητείται Bookkeeper [Fixed-Term period of 24 months] – Λευκωσία
C.G. Papaloisou Ltd, a pharmaceutical company based in Nicosia, wishes to hire a Bookkeeper [Fixed-Term period of 24 months]. Flexibility with working hours may be considered for suitable candidates. The position will work closely with Senior Accountants and it will report to the Finance and Operations Director.
Main Duties
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the company’s accounting software
 - Ensure that all entries are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and IFRSs (accounting standards) as well as Cyprus laws and regulations.
 - Follow up with senior accountants for possible issues such as customers or vendors as late payments.
 - Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
 - Reconcile receivables and payables accounts
 - Process and reconcile investments analysis before posting the journal entries to the system
 
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or higher
 - Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or LCCI Higher.
 - Proven experience of at least 3 years as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
 - Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (especially excel).
 - Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
 - Familiarity with payroll and tax/VAT processes will be considered an advantage.
 - Previous experience with SAP accounting software will also be considered an advantage
