Our English Language Institute (Maria Toumazou Royal English Private Institute in Larnaka) is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Language Teacher to join our team for the new academic year.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons
• Prepare students for Cambridge examinations (YLE, A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, IGCSE ESL)
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain positive classroom discipline and encourage active participation
• Collaborate with colleagues and follow the institute’s curriculum
• Communicate effectively with parents when required
Requirements
• Degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Teaching qualification (e.g. TEFL, TESOL, CELTA)
• Experience teaching young learners and teenagers
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Passion for teaching and student development
Desirable Qualifications
• Experience with Cambridge exam preparation (if applicable)
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools and interactive teaching methods
