Job Summary
The HR Officer will support the Human Resource Services Manager in the effective coordination and delivery of HR services across the Institute. The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening HR processes, supporting employee development initiatives, and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibiities
- Support the HR Services Manager in maintaining and continuously enhancing the Institute’s HR operations and processess.
- Provide administrative support for the day-today operations of the HR Office, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Assist with recruitment administration, including CV screening support, interview scheduling, communication with candidates and preparation of onboarding documentation.
- Prepare and process HR documentation such as employment contracts, amendments, forms, letters, confirmations and related correspondence.
- Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of employee records, personnel files and HR database in compliance with internal policies and data protection requirements.
- Monitor staff attendance and administer the HR information system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Support payroll administration by preparing HR-related reports, documentation and monthly employee updates for submission to the Finance Office.
- Handle procedures with the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA), including preparation and submission of applications, training registrations and related documentation through the platform.
- Assist in conducting HR surveys and support the analysis of results and follow-up initiatives.
- Promote the effective use of HR software systems, AI tools and digital technologies to enhance efficiency, reporting and process improvement.
What We’re Looking for
- A bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field; and
- A minimum of 2 years of job-related experience; and
- Command of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
Previous relevant work experience in the Health/Research/Academic field will be considered as an advantage.
