Kouzalis & Co Ltd: Ζητείται Bookkeeper – Λευκωσία
We are an established accounting and auditing practice in Nicosia, and we are seeking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing services to a portfolio of clients and should have at least 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Good knowledge of Greek and English languages is a must.
Duties and responsibilities
- Handle bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients
- Prepare and submit VAT and VIES returns
- Prepare bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations
- Prepare accounting files for audit purposes
- Handle payroll calculations
- Handle simple tax returns
- Prepare management accounts
Key skills and experience
- Degree in Accounting and Finance or Economics or related subjects or LCCI higher in Accounting
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Able to work independently and under minimum supervision
- Good knowledge of the Greek and English languages
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially excel
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines
