This role involves maintaining daily accounting records and preparing cash flow reports for banks. The successful candidate will be responsible for bank and PSP reconciliations, as well as customer, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations for small to medium-sized companies. They will also need to respond to ad-hoc requests from seniors and supervisors and collaborate effectively with other departments. Meeting internal and external deadlines is a key part of this role.
Main Role:
- Maintain accounting books and records on a daily basis and ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner;
- Preparation of the daily cash flow reports for banks;
- Prepare banks and PSP reconciliations;
- Performing customers, vendors, and intercompany reconciliations for small-medium sized companies;
- Preparing tickets for payments of supplier invoices through a payment system;
- Good communication and collaboration with other departments;
- Ensuring that internal/external deadlines are met;
- Being able to undertake ad-hoc requests from seniors/supervisors.
Candidate Profile:
- LCCI Higher or Diploma or University Degree in Accounting or related field;
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience in the Financial Services industry will be considered as an advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel;
- Fluency in the English language, oral and written;
- Self-motivated, energetic with ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking.
