Peletico Group: Ζητείται Head of Accounting Department – Λευκωσία
The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and play a key role in overseeing all accounting operations of the company.
The Role:
- Lead, organize, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the Accounts Department
- Lead the annual audit process, including the preparation of all relevant reports and ensuring compliance with the requirements set by external auditors
- Maintain daily communication with banking institutions regarding company accounts
- Prepare and verify payments to local and international creditors
- Oversee the periodic inventory count process
- Prepare and submit the Group’s quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare and submit quarterly management reports, budgets, costing analyses, and cash flow projections
You are the ideal candidate if:
- You hold a University degree in Accounting or be a partly qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA, ACA) or hold an AAT qualification
- You have at least five years of experience in a similar role
- You have previous experience with SAP software (advantage)
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You are fluent both in Greek and English (written and spoken)
