Mnogoknig: Ζητείται Senior Accountant – Λεμεσός
We are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Mnogoknig is a network of bookstores offering books in Russian, English, Ukrainian, and other languages. For over 24 years, we have fulfilled our mission of helping readers worldwide enjoy their favorite books in their native language.
We also offer board games, stationery, Tarot cards, children’s toys, accessories, hobby and craft supplies, and holiday decorations.
We have one of the largest book selections in Europe.
Your main responsibilities will include:
– Bookkeeping & Reporting: Maintain accounting records, prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
– Tax & Payroll: Handle VAT submissions, payroll, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
– Coordination: Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banks.
– Support: Assist in other finance-related tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Practical experience with accounting software is required.
- Previous experience of more than two years is highly desirable.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating a positive work ethic.
- Strong command of English; knowledge of Greek is desirable.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality.
- Well-organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
