American Medical Center: Ζητείται Financial Reporting & Accounting Professional – Λευκωσία

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Financial Reporting & Accounting Professional to join one of our hospitals in Nicosia, Cyprus. This is a dynamic opportunity for finance professionals to be part of a high-impact team within a leading regional healthcare group.

Reporting Line:

This role reports directly to the local FC, Head of FP&A and functionally to the Head of HHG FP&A based in Attica, Greece.

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the month/year-end closing and reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform daily invoice and periodic account reconciliations with internal entities, banks, and vendors.
• Maintain detailed and organized accounting files, reports, and financial data.
• Provide accurate data to Internal/External Auditors and Public Authorities.
• Assist in accounting operations, including data entry for accounts payable, provisions, accruals, and other adjustments.
• Identify and propose solutions for process improvements.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support reporting needs.
• Support budgeting processes in coordination with local and Group finance teams.

Qualifications & Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• A Master’s degree or ACCA/ACA certification is a strong asset.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar role in a large organization or in Audit/Consulting Services (Big 4 experience will be highly considered).
• Solid knowledge of Financial Accounting and IFRS.
• Experience with Navision, SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in Greek and English (written and verbal).
