1.  Accounting Manager

Job Description

  • Responsible for performing financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
  • Responsible for performing month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
  • Generate financial reports and statements to Management for review.
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Coordinate various planning phases of the Firms engagements.
  • Establish primary working relationship with clients.
  • Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.
  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
  • Generate budgets.
  • Monitor engagements to ensure work is effectively on time.
  • Review reports and financial statements based on IFRS.
  • Provide overall leadership, supervision, training, guidance and performance feedback to staff.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified accountant, holder of ACA/ACCA.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial & management accounting and at least 2 years post qualification.
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and accounting software.
  • Knowledge and Experience on Indirect Tax / VIES is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor others.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

2.  ACCA Trainee Auditor

Job Description

  • Assist on assigned segments of an audit.
  • Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize findings on the assigned audit segment.
  • Complete the audit of a dormant company with supervision from senior associate.
  • Vouch / Trace invoices to and from ledger.
  • Prepare confirmation letter for closing balances.
  • Check bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare draft financial statements.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree Graduate (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4).
  • ACCA student.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an advantage.
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy.

4.  ACCA Trainee Accountant

Job Description

  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
  • Managing day to day transactions, preparing and completing suppliers and bank reconciliations.
  • Dealing with Payroll issues.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES returns.
  • Invoicing.
  • Preparation of payment instructions and online payments.
  • Managing company ledgers.
  • Handling accruals and pre-payments on invoices issued and received.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains general ledgers; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Daily correspondence with the clients regarding collection of information.
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Preparing cash flows and management accounts.
  • Cooperate with the audit / taxation department in completion of client needs in financial reporting and tax assignments.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

  • University Degree.
  • Experience in working as an accountant in companies operating in the industry would be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language, both verbal and written. Knowledge of any other language would be considered an advantage.
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self – motivated, energetic with the ability to work under pressure.
