A&G currently seeks to employ a highly-skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer for a commercial mega-project in Limassol Cyprus. The selected candidate will possess extensive technical expertise and experience in handling such projects. He/she will report directly to the Project Construction Manager but will be expected to work independently to perform the following activities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Direct and oversee part of the project construction (understand needs and objectives, design framework, blueprints & delivery timeline
• Supervising a technical team and organize construction work site (bearing in mind materials and equipment needs, health and safety measures, etc.)
• Manage subordinate staff/technicians team, while estimating the work time and daily agendas (plan, coordinate and execute electrical works)
• Work with and overseeing construction Supervisor/Foreman and troubleshooting potential issues on site
• Prepare and implement daily work reports, productivity and weekly forecasts
• Communicate with main contractor’s site engineers via email or meetings conducted on site, informing them of project status and providing them with relative materials (ex: engineering surveys and drawings)
• Actively work to enforce health & safety measures affecting corporate staff and workers on the work site, adhering to the EU and international codes
• Conduct monthly evaluation regarding the strength and productivity of technical personnel
• Participate frequently in technical training seminars and technology conferences relative to industry
• Represent the company professionally, always bearing in mind its best interest

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 6 years’ work experience managing electromechanical construction of commercial and/or industrial projects
• High level of technical expertise and a continuous passion for engineering sciences
• Analytical understanding of engineering so as to effectively problem-solve technical issues
• Team leadership skills and experience managing subordinate staff on project sites
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, staff, and external partners
• Must be proficient in AutoCad and Microsoft Office
• Excellent command of the English language
• Self-driven and able to make positive decisions on behalf of the company
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment
