Elysee Irrigation Ltd, one of the largest plastics manufacturing industries in Cyprus, with a leading position in the local market and exports to more than 65 countries worldwide, is expanding and strengthening its strategic development by recruiting competent individuals. The company is looking to hire an R&D Mechanical Engineer based at its factory in Ergates Industrial Area, Nicosia.
Position: R&D Mechanical Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and improving a wide range of products
- Designing technical plastic products, injection molds and inserts
- Developing technical documentation
Qualifications, experience and Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- Solid foundation and practical knowledge in mechanical design (Mandatory)
- Competent with 3D CAD modelling systems with ability to draft engineering drawings (Mandatory) Preferred Siemens NX
- Demonstrated technical problem solving abilities through experiments, analysis and systematic methods
- Knowledge in systematic engineering design process to meet functional requirement
- Knowledge in project management and skills in using Inloox PM (similar to Microsoft Project) are desirable
- knowledge in FEM simulation like Moldex and Ansys is appreciated
- Document and maintain accurate records
- Relative work experience would be appreciated but is not necessary
- Good self-management, prioritizing and multitasking skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Team player, good organizational and communication skills
