𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗖𝗬) 𝗟𝘁𝗱 and 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 are looking for 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝘆𝗽𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗹 / 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮. Pointer-Friends is a registered canine welfare charity based in Germany, but running a Rescue Center in Cyprus. The Centre has two different parts: A rescue kennels and a separate boarding kennels / dog hotel.
The shelter is currently undergoing staffing restructuring which has offered us this splendid opportunity to seek additional kennel hands.
Experience preferred but training will be given to the right candidate.
“𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀”:
1. Must like dogs,
2. Must be confident around big dogs.
3. Must be physically fit and capable of working a strenuous full time shift in the Cyprus harsh summer and wet winter conditions (outside).
4. Must be legal to work in the Republic of Cyprus.
5. Must have conversational English.
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
1. Experienced with dogs.
2. Worked in a kennel or shelter previously.
3. Car driver.
4. Greek speaker
Personal interview will take place.
Please be aware that identity checks, work entitlement and references will be required for this post.
Salaries correspond to the hours to be agreed in advance with the successful applicants. Preferably to work 4 days a week, 8 hours a day. Possible to split the job in 2 employees with 2 days a week and 8 hours a day.
