ACCOUNTANT ASSOCIATE – ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT (REF ACC01)

Hadjikyriakos & Sons Ltd is looking for an Accountant Associate for its accounting department in Nicosia.

ACCOUNTANT ASSOCIATE – ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT (REF ACC01)

Role Description

• Supervision and monitoring of the accountants/bookkeepers of the accounting department
• Ensure financial information is recorded in a complete accurate and timely manner
• Day to day Bookkeeping and maintenance of the accounting records
• Review of bank/cash/creditors/debtors reconciliations
• Issuance of sales invoices and receipts
• Preparation of Provident Fund books
• Review of payroll and completion of the social insurance contributions forms
• Cyprus and EU VAT knowledge
• Liaising with associates for completion of bookkeeping such as banks, customers etc
• Preparation of the audit file and liaise with auditors for the annual audit
• Assistance with preparation of Management Accounts

Required qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or professional qualification (CAT/ LCCI Higher)
• At least 5 years of working experience
• Provident Fund Literate
• Knowledge of Accounting/Bookkeeping Software (Navision)
• Fluency in both Greek and English language
• IT literacy – Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Office 365, Excel, Word)
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Trustworthy, team player, punctual, proactive and responsible
• Strong technical and analytical skills
