Ζητείται Junior Accountant

We are seeking to recruit a junior accountant who will be assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing accounting information;
• Manage day to day transactions, completing bank reconciliations;
• Prepare and Submit VAT and VIES returns;
• Invoicing;
• Managing company ledgers;
• Handling accruals and pre-payments on invoices issued and received;
• Maintain and balance company accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies;
• Maintain general ledger, preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries;
• Daily correspondence with the clients regarding collection of information.
• Prepare all relevant information/file ready for audit.

Education and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting;
• Knowledge of accounting software (preferably Sage);
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as an accountant in an Accounting firm;
• Fluency in Greek and English (written & spoken);
