We are looking for a reliable Accountant on a full-time basis. The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting/Bookkeeping role.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Daily book-keeping and recording the Company’s transactions in Company’s accounting System
- VAT calculation and form submission
- Administration of Payroll (Tax, SI, payroll calculation)
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Conduct bank/creditors reconciliation
- Recording, controlling and reporting of the entities and transactions of the cash and bank accounts
- Preparing relevant reports required by the Authorities or the Company’s Management
- Preparation of tax returns
- Assistance with ad-hoc financial related requests by the management
- Proper and efficient filing of all documents relating to the above procedures
Desired Skills and Experience
- University degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
- 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Knowledge of accounting for the transactions with various types of financial instruments and foreign exchange
- Fluent in English
- IT literate (Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word)
- ACA/ ACCA qualified or partly qualified will be an advantage
- Excellent organization skills and great attention to detail
