Trainee Auctioneer and Saleroom Assistant
Castle Auctions are the largest Auction House in Cyprus with Salerooms in Latsia Nicosia and Ypsonas Limassol.
Our Limassol Saleroom has a vacancy for a Trainee Auctioneer and Saleroom Assistant who will be part of a friendly team responsible for helping us sell a wide range of goods from antiques and collectables to vehicles, furniture, tools and commercial equipment.
Due to the international nature of our customers it is essential that applicants are fluent in both Greek and English.
Additionally, the successful candidate must be physically able and prepared to assist with moving / arranging and collecting / delivery of heavy items.The starting salary will be €10,500 per year with increase to €11,400 and eligibility for a bonus scheme after a qualifying period. There is 21 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
Working hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm, based on a 5-day working week with a requirement to work Saturdays but offering set days off during the week. There may be a requirement for a degree of flexibility to work additional paid overtime hours as required.
