Job description

Chr. Marinou & Co. Auditors – Accountants Ltd seeks to recruit an Accountant in Larnaca.

Job Duties

• General bookkeeping duties including posting of invoices, bank reconciliation, supplier’s reconciliation

• Preparation of quarterly reports to assess financial position

• Assisting senior members of the accounts department with accounting tasks

• Performs accurately and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

• Ensures timely delivery and collection of documents

• Having the ability to work for multiple clients simultaneously

• Contributes to a positive and dynamic working environment

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related field and/or LCCI Level II / III Higher (Accounting)

• Professional experience in a similar position will be considered as an advantage

• Excellent knowledge of the Cyprus VAT Law and Social Insurance Law

• Excellent knowledge of accounting software program

• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
