1.  Treasury Manager

About The Role

We are currently looking for a Treasury Manager to join our team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Preparing and initiating payments based on payment schedule and approval limits.
  • Providing payment support to the relevant parties and communicating with the banks/solutions if necessary.
  • Recording expenses by department and reporting on potential overreaching of limits.
  • Preparing daily bank activity reports across company’s global banking infrastructure and reporting on insufficient balances to the Director of Treasury.
  • Checking on fees charged by banks/PSPs and making sure proper alignment is in place.
  • Providing feedback on current payment malfunctions/delays for improvement.
  • Assisting in cash-flow management calculations, forecasts and re-enusring relevant actions are taken to keep sufficient balances where and when needed.
  • Assisting with new bank/solutions implementation based on current company gaps, needs and future objectives.
  • Assisting in the automation process when it comes to integration with banks, payment solutions and systems.
  • Maintaining a balanced and effective relationship with the group with all the departments and units.
  • Performing other related treasury duties as requested.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

  • Degree in business administration, banking, accounting or finance. Membership with a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA) will be considered an advantage.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the local/global banking institution systems and payment solutions.
  • Awareness of advanced and innovative solutions will be an advantage.
  • Confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Ability to use MS Excel to a high standard is a must.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Being able to work independently, with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of commitment with a drive to deliver results under pressure.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, accountability & responsibility.

About The Role 

We are currently looking for a Tax and VAT Manager to join our team.

The applicant shall be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Overall responsibility over the tax and VAT compliance of the Cypriot companies of the Group.
  • Preparation and submission of income tax computations, tax returns and VAT returns for Group companies in Cyprus.
  • Review and monitoring of tax and VAT compliance of Group companies in other jurisdictions.
  • Ensuring international tax compliance of the Group companies (transfer pricing, DAC6, CFC rules, CbCR etc.).
  • Maintaining effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax and VAT process.
  • Review agreements and transactions from a tax and VAT perspective to identify possible risks.
  • Providing tax and VAT advice to the Group companies.
  • Handling tax and VAT matters of the group and liaising with external auditors, in-house finance teams, bankers, lawyers and advisors.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

  • Membership with a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA) is a must.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the tax or VAT department ideally within a big-four firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Cypriot tax legislation and principles of international Tax Law.
  • Experience in preparation/filing of all types of tax forms and returns.
  • Knowledge of international tax regulations (transfer pricing, DAC6, CFC rules, CbCR etc.) will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Ability to use MS Excel to a high standard is a must.
