Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is seeking to recruit a Reservations Officer.

1.  Reservations Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Process booking requests and enquiries on a daily basis through all channels (telephone, emails etc.) within time limits set for the team.
  • Ensuring that accurate information is entered into the PMS’s (Property Management System) for bookings.
  • Manage all enquiries in accordance with Company’s standards and procedures, handling in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Exceed our guest’s expectations when booking by understanding and exhibiting knowledge of our facilities and the local area.
  • Aim to maximize revenue through up-selling of bookings and cross-selling of our Hotel.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Hospitality, Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as a Reservations Officer for 4-5* hotel is preferable.
  • Preferred languages: Russian, Greek, and English.
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Theova PMS is desirable.
  • Excellent computer literacy. Very good knowledge of MS Excel is a must.

2. Night Receptionists

Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is seeking to recruit Night Receptionists.

Responsibilities:

  • Register guests, assign rooms and accommodates special requests.
  • Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, cheques, debit, or credit cards.
  • Answer, record and process guest calls, messages, requests, or questions.
  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Prepares passenger landing forms whenever requested.
  • Participates in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of guests.
  • Ensures passenger satisfaction through proper handling of their issues / situations.
  • Assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
  • Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of the location and all types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the Resort.
  • Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
  • Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Clear understanding of the cancellation procedures.
  • Process guest check-outs.
  • Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out’s, currency exchange.
  • Communicate services and amenities of the hotel to guests.
  • Obtain proper identification for tax-exempt guests and attach the form to registration card.
  • Reads and initials the pass-on log and bulletin board daily. Is aware of daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
  • Knows all safety and emergency procedures, Is aware of accident prevention policies.
  • Advise guest of any messages, mail, faxes, etc. received for them.
  • To perform any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Qualifications:
