Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced, self-starting, goal oriented, and successful sales & Marketing professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager. As a Business Development Manager, your objective is to identify new sources of business and potential growth of the existing business units. To clearly express these ideas in a manner that will build rapport with our current and new partners and associates. The ideal candidate will proactively develop a pipeline of new project opportunities and to assist in enhancing existing key customer partnerships for long-term business growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (Marketing, Sales)
  • A master’s degree will be considered a plus (MBA)
  • Proven track record developing business and long-term client relations
  • 5-10 years of business development / sales experience
  • Proven ability in managing complex services sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful service revenue and profitability attainment
  • Ability to get the most out of resources
  • Proven ability to thrive and excel in a lean, fast-paced, dynamic environment with high performance expectations
  • Experience from the medical sector will be a plus

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for strategy implementation and management of all business development activities
  • Develop and maintain clients & partners relationships
  • Monitoring of the market situation
  • Competition monitoring
  • Identifying, qualifying and seeking out new opportunities on the market
  • Identification of strategic targets and market niches
  • Market research and identifying potential clients
  • Development of new business fields
  • Creating and developing sales and marketing strategies
  • Building relationships with new clients and maintain relationships with current clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and current business partners
  • Working closely with other managers and departments
  • Contract negotiations and concluding contracts
  • Strategic advice and support of partners
  • Strategic and operational development of existing activities
  • Think innovative ideas and ticks and strategy for business development
  • Understand the client’s requirement and offer them solutions
  • Plans ways to improve business operations
