We are looking for a Junior accountant to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus. The position entails a supporting role in all accounting and financial matters within a fast-growing company to ensure its accounting and tax flow.

Position Summary:

The Junior Accountant will be working alongside the Accounting & Finance team. The position is an entry-level opportunity and includes several responsibilities such as recording of accounting entries/transactions on a daily basis in an accurate and timely manner, assisting in preparation and submission of VAT returns and VIES declaration, bank reconciliations, supporting in accounting and financial-related matters, and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related goals.

Requirements:

• Holder of LCCI Higher Diploma in Accounting;
• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or other similar field is welcome but not essential;
• Prior working experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage;
• Very good written and verbal communication skills of English language;
• Russian and Greek language skills will be considered as an advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office is a must;
• Commitment to completing tasks to deadlines;
• Organized, diligent and detail oriented;
• Strong team player with positive can-do attitude;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
