Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean: Θέση Office Administrator – Λεμεσός

Responsibilities:

As a secretary/administrator, you’ll need to:

  • audio and copy type
  • write letters
  • deal with telephone and email enquiries, using an email system (e.g. Outlook)
  • photocopy and print various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues
  • organize and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information
  • create and maintain filing and other office systems
  • maintain contact lists
  • handle expenses and billing cycles
  • create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • update and maintain office administrative procedures
  • schedule and attend meetings, create agendas and take minutes
  • book meeting room and conference facilities
  • liaise with staff in the institution and other external partners
  • order and maintain stationery and equipment
  • organize travel and accommodation for staff and other external contacts
  • act as the point of contact for the Institute
  • provide general support to visitors

General Requirements for the position:

  • college or university degree in secretarial studies
  • excellent command of English language with perfect written skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
