1.  Store Manager – Larnaca

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading a team of store partners to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners.  The store manager is required to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managing the overall operation of the store.  In particular, a majority of time is spent supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffing and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the store’s financial performance, and managing safety and security within the store.

Responsilibities include, but are not limited to:

  • Displays a “customer comes first” attitude by delivering legendary customer service.
  • Plans, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to store partners to ensure smooth flow of operations.
  • Manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep store operating to standard and to set an example for the store team.
  • Drives the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.
  • Provides coaching and direction to the store team to take action and to achieve operational goals.
  • Constantly reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilizes existing tools to identify and prioritize communications. Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.
  • Constantly monitors and manages store staffing levels to ensure partner development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirements.
  • Regularly utilizes management information tools and analyzes financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance.
  • Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements
  • Actively manages store partners by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve partner performance. Manages ongoing partner performance using performance management tools to support organizational objectives.
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and programs as well as by finding new, creative, and impactful methods of recognition. 

Summary of Experience 

  • Four years of progressively responsible retail experience, including two year of supervisory experience
  • Experience analyzing financial reports
  • College degree in business or a closely related field is required.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

2.  Assistant Store Manager – Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

This job contributes to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager in implementing store operations. The incumbent assists and supervises a team of store partners to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners.

 

Responsilibities include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately to ensure effective store operations
  • Ensures store operations according to company standards and act as a role model for the shift
  • Models a “customer comes first” attitude, and delivers legendary service by serving customers. Supervises partners to ensure they deliver legendary customer service
  • Creates positive team environment and develops relationships with partners to understand needs and address partner morale issues with store manager
  • Engages in conversation to understand customer and community needs
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Reviews store environment and key business indicators to identify and help solve problems
  • Supports store manager in implementing company programs
  • Supports store operation by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
  • Provides coaching and feedback during the shift on operation tools in order to achieve operational excellence

Summary of Experience 

  • Progressively responsible retail experience.
  • 3+ yrs customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
  • 2+ yrs experience in directing the work of others in ASM position.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Ability to act with a customer-comes-first attitude and deliver customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Ability to provide direction to others.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the retail environment.

  • High school or equivalent.

3.  Shift Supervisor – Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities

This job contributes to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivers legendary customer service to all customers. Discovers and responds to customer needs.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
  • Assists with new partner training. Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift.
  • Creates a positive learning environment.
  • Develops positive relationships with shift team
  • Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Follows operational procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.
  • During shift, directs partners to various workstations to reduce bottlenecks and to ensure legendary service provided to all customers.
  • Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Follows all operational tools to ensure operational excellence during shift.

Summary of Experience 

  • 1 year customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment- same position

  • Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
  • Maintains a clean and comfortable store environment.
  • Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

 

Summary of Experience 

  • 1year customer service No previous experience required.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions and request clarification when needed
