1.  Back Office Assistant

The Back Office assistant provides administrative support to Compliance Officer. The primary duty is to maintain the compliant operations of the basic functions of the back office, in order to adhere to rules and regulations as per our license. A degree of flexibility with regards to both working hours and practices is required in order to meet deadlines.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Maintaining client records
  • Processing clients trading agreements and IB agreements
  • Processing deposits and withdrawals of client funds
  • Log details relating to the customer complaints, inquiries, feedbacks
  • Efficient reconciliation of customer transactions, deposits and withdrawals.
  • Coordinating with dealing desk with regards to suspicious client trading activity
  • Liaising with the sales team to arrange for the timely receipt of client documentation.
  • Carrying out Know Your Client procedure
  • Assist the Back Office Manager with any necessary tasks
  • Abide by quality controls and procedures to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
  • Advise the Back Office Manager on any necessary changes or actions with regards to procedures.
  • Any other Ad-hoc activities not listed above, that may occur on an as and when basis.

2.  Dealer Reception & Transmission

3.  Sales Associate

To develop and cultivate new business as well as encourage existing clients to fund and trade on their accounts.

To be the first point of contact for the clients looking to trade with the company.

A degree of flexibility with regards to both working hours and practices is required in order to meet deadlines/budgets.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Execute an organized, efficient and structured sales process
  • Help drive the sales for AFX’s products and services
  • Responsible for bringing both new and experienced FX traders to the firm
  • Convert leads into clients, using an effective sales approach
  • Use an intelligent soft sales approach to communicate the benefits of AFX Capital, our trading platform, and the FX market toprospective clients
  • Intelligently discuss with clients the financial markets and the factors that move them in an articulate manner
  • Assist customers with account inquiries and turn customer interactions into sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients via phone, email, Live Person chat.
  • Assist, when the need arises, in seminars, expos and marketing events in order to expand client base.
  • Create customized solutions for client’s needs
  • Highlight International/Financial Market Business opportunities for the Firm as well as analyze and implement reforms to previous sales cycle and processes
  • Assist in gathering the required documentation from clients in order to speed up the account opening, and deposit / withdrawal process.
  • Communicate marketing promotions to clients through telephone and email
  • Other duties as assigned

4.  Legal & Compliance Assistant

AFX Group is a rapidly growing financial service provider, and is seeking a Legal & Compliance Assistant, to be based in the Limassol Office.

The successful candidate will be part of the Legal & Compliance team and will have the below duties and responsibilities.

  • Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all activities of the company are adhering to the license requirements, in conjunction with the Compliance Manager
  • Provide and interpret legal information pertaining to the activities of the company
  • Review marketing material
  • Conduct relevant informative training to staff on an as and when basis
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, terms and conditions for client offers and competitions and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements
  • Advise the Back Office on any necessary changes or actions with regards to procedures
  • Liaise with external lawyers as needed
  • Any other Ad-hoc activities not listed above, that may occur on an as and when basis

Requirements for the role

Experience in a similar role, and/or experience in the financial industry, of at least 1 year is essential.
Experience in dealing with various regulatory bodies (CySEC, FCA etc) and their respective rules.
Fluency in English is essential, Greek will be considered as an advantage.
LLB in law or other relevant degree education
