1.  IT Support Specialist

Reporting to the IT Manager, the successful candidate will act as a first level Help Desk support providing end-user support and project delivery to supplement the maintenance and development of the company’s Airline IT systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in the installation/configuration and operation/maintenance of hardware, software and the Company’s Data Network
  • Monitoring applications, perform enhancements and upgrades
  • Implement integrations among the Airline Systems by using proper API technologies
  • Have a keen interest in using any appropriate tools, especially Cloud-based and Open Sourced, to solve the problem at hand
  • Involvement in the implementation of new Airline systems and applications
  • Provide 24/7 on call support

 

Person Specification:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Up to 2-3 years of experience in a related role
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Products like Office 365, Microsoft Azure and particularly SharePoint Development, will be considered an advantage.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills, due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors to solve complex business problems together
  • Energetic, positive and team player
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Fluency in English

2.  Sales executive

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the airline’s relationship with the travel trade and corporate customers (such as Government houses, Embassies, commercial houses and SMEs).
  • Plan and manage the B2B distribution policies of the airline and negotiate with online travel agencies (OTA), global distribution systems (GDS) and bank settlement programs (BSP). Low cost distribution is coupled with the desire to service the trade distribution systems and expand the sales footprint of the airline.
  • Create, promote, report, survey, analyse and monitor sales. This includes client facing (trade events), creation of distribution policies and budgets and liaising with he IT & Ecommerce departments to deliver solutions.
  • Build relationships with customers and help to establish business connections for the airline.
  • Manage customer files and maintain customer accounts.
  • Work with top executives to create plans for long-term profits. In order to reach sales goals, you will help with developing sales tactics and marketing materials.
  • Increase the market share of the company and monitor competitiveness are also part of your job duties.
  • Attend meetings with clients or executives to present sales and marketing information. Attending to the needs of customers may mean traveling to various destinations around the world. You may have to work odd hours, which could include evenings, weekends and holidays if you’re traveling.

 

Person Specification:

  • Strong analytical capabilities and good attention to details while being able to pragmatically communicate findings in verbal, written and visual formats.
  • Expert understanding of the airline industry, specifically the Low Cost Carrier (LCC) business model.
  • Good knowledge of customer value and customer segmentations.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse, reporting and analysis tools is preferred.
  • A self-starter with a proven track record of innovation, best-practices implementation, project management and a strong knowledge of forecasting, tracking and reporting tools across all activities.
  • LCC or OTA experience relevant to the sales position.
