GDL Trading: Purchase Officer – Limassol
GDL Trading Ltd is looking to hire a Purchase Officer to support the Purchases Department team with the everyday workflow.
- Supporting the Purchases Department team with everyday workflow, including regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
- Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
- Assist in managing and following up overseas orders.
- Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing products.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Preparing and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
- Source for new suppliers and make contact for prospective collaboration.
- University / College degree of any field.
- Previous working experience in a relevant field will be considered as an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral. French and other languages will be considered as advantage.
- Strong attention to details
- Team player able to take initiatives.
