Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute: Project Coordinator – Nicosia

Duties and Responsibilities

  • European/ International Projects management
  • Monitor closely progress against deadlines, towards deliverables and to meet work plan objectives
  • Preparation of EC reports
  • Application writing
  • Organize/coordinate expert panels, consultations, project reviews and other meetings, managing all logistics
  • Prepare summaries of events and reports to use in press and website materials
  • Any other task that may be assigned to him/her

Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc in Humanities/Social Sciences (preferably – other degrees not excluded)
  • Strong research background
  • Professional working proficiency in spoken and written Greek and English
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize ambiguous information
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to work equally well on self-managed or team-oriented projects
  • Logical thinker with strong analytical & problem-solving skills/ able to think out of the box
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications (will be considered an advantage)

  • Post-graduate studies in Humanities/Social Sciences (preferably – other degrees not excluded)
  • Experience and/or academic education in research and in coordinating/managing EU projects
  • Academic education in project management
  • Experience in writing research proposals/applications
  • Having worked before in a similar role

Further information: The selected candidate might be asked to travel frequently.
