1.  HR/Payroll Officer
Job Description

We are establishing a new LCC Airline that will be based in Cyprus and will operate regionally and throughout Europe and we are looking for an HR/Payroll Officer to join us from the very beginning.

Job Description:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Assist with the recruiting processes including posting job announcements, scheduling interviews and/or assessment days, informing applicants of their acceptance or rejection for the job for which they applied for.
  • Maintain HR records.
  • Staff Leave of Absence monitoring and reporting.
  • Process company’s payroll(s) for management approval.
  • Collate payroll information, process, produce reports and journals and file.
  • Produce monthly Social Insurance and P.A.Y.E. reports.
  • Preparation of payroll related reports for managers.
  • End of year processing and payment summaries reconciliation.
  • Handle staff queries regarding payroll.
  • Ad hoc HR Activities.
Required Qualifications

Person Specification:

  • A university degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in relevant role (payroll process experience will be considered an advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of labour law.
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office tools.
  • Fluent in English and Greek.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work accurately, with high attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding start up environment.

Job Requirements: • At least 3 months previous experience as a cabin crew member is a must (Experience in other customer service roles will be considered an advantage) • These 3 months of experience must be within the last 12 months • High School Diploma • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must (Additional languages will be considered an advantage) • Holder of a EU passport • Good communication skills • Excellent customer service skills, ability to deal with demanding customers • Flexible and willing to work on a shift roster, weekends and public holidays
