Part-time Private chef, Sous Chef, Junior Chef – Limassol
We are searching for the NEXT talented CHEF to join our team in Limassol, Cyprus. This is a new and exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenging role in which they can fully utilize their culinary skills.
The successful candidate will use their pallet and knowledge of cooking techniques and different cuisines, to ensure quality and delicious meals are prepared for our clients. He/She will be working in a culinary driven environment whilst directing the preparations, seasoning and cooking of salads, soups, meat, fish, vegetables, deserts and other food.
Key Duties and responsibilities: • Plan new menus and dishes, meet with clients to discuss menus for special occasions. • Planning and executing food preparation • Cook in quantity • Keep an eye for problems and seize control of a situation. • Determine how meals should be presented. • Inspect supplies • Manage a small team of waiters (where necessary). • Make sure customers are happy and delivered excellent quality of food and service.
Skills and expertise: • Degree in the Culinary arts or related • English & Greek languages are a must (additional languages not necessary but will considered an advantage). • Must own a car and valid driving license. • High skilled in cooking/culinary techniques and production • Ability to creatively build a menu and utilize seasonal, local ingredients. • Perform more than one task at a time • Keen awareness of customer needs • Clean, and tidy • Late night ability
